Lovely welcome, great accomodation - dont often get a mini kitchen! Quiet in the bar when we went but still very friendly place. Breakfast was superb!!! Thankyou for a lovely mini break. Defintely recommend and return. 10/10 |

Hi boys- once again we had a fabulous weekend with you all!! Such a warm welcome, your staff are SO friendly and warm and welcoming and that goes a long way. Chalets lovely and clean, well equipped and cosy and warm. Breakfast absolutely gorgeous and fresh. Sunday lunch was delicious as well! Entertainment really good. Couldn't have wished for more! Lovely stay at The Station. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. As food was finished early on the Sunday we went to a lovely Chinese takeaway just down the road called the Gold River that was amazing. Would definitely come and stay here again 5* Thank you |

we had a great break at the station, the room was large and well equipped. the andys, anne and lucy did everything possible to make our stay a pleasure. the breakfasts were superb. we will certainly return, as will my son and his girlfriend who we told all about it. thank you. |

Stayed three nights with our two dogs and found it truly dog friendly. Having own own front door enabling us to come and go as we please was a big bonus. There was no noise disturbance from the pub. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped for our needs. Bed linen and towels were of good quality, complimentary toiletries were also provided. The kitchen area was well euipped with microwave, cutlery and crockery which enabled us to be self-sufficient - a major plus for food allergy sufferers like us. However, our days had an excellent start with our breakfast served in the bar. Every effort and care being taken to ensure that our special dietary needs were accommodated. Special thanks are due to Lucy for those lovely breakfasts and the two Andy's for making us so welcome.

My partner booked 3 nights at The Station in December as a last minute suprise for my birthday. We were there on one of the coldest nights of the year, down below minus 15 degrees and deep in snow. We were warm enough but the owners brought us an extra heater in case we were cold. It could not have been better for us, a B&B with rooms seperate from the pub was great as I sometimes feel a bit akward in someone elses home. The room was well equiped, warm, clean with good quality towels and bed linen, plenty of tea and coffee and even complementary toiloetries. The information folder in the room was a good idea with a list of essential phone numbers and details of local restaurants and take aways. It was really nice to find a little Christmas Tree in the room. For me this was one of the highlights!! together with the fact that we could take our dog. He was made very welcome, there was an enclosed area where he could run about. The pub is in an ideal spot for anyone with a dog as it is a very short easy walk to Filey Country park and the beach. Very good breakfast served in the pub a vegetarian breakfast was no trouble and was very nice with good quality ingredients and well cooked. Very friendly staff. We didn't get a chance to have a meal at the pub but did go in for a drink. We were made to feel very welcome by the owners the staff and the regular customers. Our dog was also welcome in the bar area. This pub seems to really be a part of the local community but sucessfully combines this with a warm welcome to visitors and the facilities to go with it. For us this was the ideal place to stay, the atmosphere just felt right and contributed to a really relaxing "hassle free" beak. |

The service here was excellent.
Nothing was too much trouble for the very sunny natured Bar Maid. There are several Dining areas in this Pub, I believe we were in the quiet Lounge part.
It was made very cosy and comfortable, Sofas and lots of cushions, and soft lighting, etc.
The Food was good too and we didnt have to wait long.
Well worth a visit. |
